Day's End Farm Horse Rescue in Lisbon, MD
When I lived in Germantown MD and boarded my horses in Mt Airy, I would pass by Day's End Farm. They do marvelous work on a national scale. This link is to a story on their website about one of their many success stories, a horse named Chino. DEFHR also publishes a calender, which is a great way to support their work and have a lovely calendar to hang on your wall in 2011!
