Sigh, why do people do this?

Large horse seizure this month in Arkansas: Arkansas horse neglect case. One of the groups where I used to live in Maryland Days End Farm has come down to help. I really would like to slap the "owner" silly, for all the good it would do.

The point of this posting is to encourage folks to donate to their favorite charity, rescue, or sanctuary during the holiday season and all through the year. In this economy more animals are suffering from neglect and every bit helps.
